Blog Commentary
Classmates Blog Commentary On the angles and shots, I commented on Jamil and Jannelle’s post. To start with we can look at Jamil’s shots/angle shots like the long shot where Janelle is surrounded by books and the setting gives a sense of peacefulness and she seems to be in her comfort zone. Jamil’s wide shot had a humor and unserious mood which the action of two students gave when they seemed to be goofing off in a library. And thirdly the mid angle shot of Carl where he seems upset and sad which shows in his body language.
Next is Janelle shots and angle. Over the shoulder shot where Carl and Jamil seem to be discussing important business as can be seen in their hands gesture. Next is the two shots of Carl and Jamil where Carl is trying to have a conversation with Jamil, but Jamil seems not to be taking Carl seriously as seen in his face showing their playful relationship. Lastly is the mid shot of Carl breaking the fourth wall where he acknowledges the audience. Many of the shots and angles that were taken were humorous and amusing, it helps me by giving me a better sense of how these shots/angles should be used.
Next time that I do activities like this I can use the example my classmates showed and what they can bring whether that can be a negative emotion, positive emotions, suspense or foolishness.
